This little fellow, is my cousin's son, aged about 4 or so. He was always
right behind his Dad, wanting to do some jobs, and wear his Dad's" big boots" . I think he took on a little
more than than he could handle, however I was there,with my sketch pad the
perfect opportunity arose! This little guy now has sons of his own. However, times being what they are, they're probably on their ipods, and not concerned about jobs!
I am a native of B.C.born in Nelson B.C. and raised in Vancouver. I now call Maple Ridge home. I attended the Vancouver School of Art, as well as the Art Center in Los Angeles, and my interest then was mainly in commercial art. While still in Los Angeles an opportunity arose for me to travel to Europe. As a result, I stayed on and became involved in window design. To fast forward, years later, and back at home in Canada I continued with my art work off and on. In 1996 I was commissioned to create a series of children's jigsaw puzzles with whimsical themes of biblical stories . As a result they have have been sold in Canada and the United States. I believe that it was at this point in time, that I began to love the "whimsical" ...
