Thanks you very much Hartmut, for your lovely comment! So glad you are enjoying the "whimsical" side of my work. I wold loved to have has a "coffee clatch"with Grandma Moses!

Thanks so much Hartmut, for your very kind comments! It's very much appreciated. I agree with you totally, in as much as I love the whimsical, and fun part of art, as well as the more serious. For many years I did just the opposite. (wish I could have had a day of painting with Grandma Moses..lol)

Lovely vibrant colors in a nicely balanced composition. Many of your 'naive' art is quite funny and witty, which is very rare - because "Artists" are taking themselves way to serious. In any case I am sure Grandma Moses would be very proud of your splendid paintings.!

About Joyce Gebauer

Joyce Gebauer

To fast forward, years later, and back at home in Canada I continued with my art work off and on. In 1996 I was commissioned to create a series of children's jigsaw puzzles with whimsical themes of biblical stories . As a result they have have been sold in Canada and the United States. I believe that it was at this point in time, that I began to love the "whimsical" ...
