Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. About Joyce Gebauer
I am a native of B.C.born in Nelson B.C. and raised in Vancouver. I now call Maple Ridge home. I attended the Vancouver School of Art, as well as the Art Center in Los Angeles, and my interest then was mainly in commercial art. While still in Los Angeles an opportunity arose for me to travel to Europe. As a result, I stayed on and became involved in window design. To fast forward, years later, and back at home in Canada I continued with my art work off and on. In 1996 I was commissioned to create a series of children's jigsaw puzzles with whimsical themes of biblical stories . As a result they have have been sold in Canada and the United States. I believe that it was at this point in time, that I began to love the "whimsical" ...
